Qira’at Imitation

About the competition:

Quran Plan, Taha Academy and National Huffuadh Association UK present a unique and inspiring competition aimed at promoting young Muslim talents while connecting them with the Quran. 

Does your child have what it takes to imitate a world renowned Quran reciter? We want kids from around the world to take part in the Mini Muslim Talent Competition! The competition is free and open to children worldwide.

How to enter

All you have to do is send in a video recording of your child reciting like one of the following Quran reciters:

Sheikh Mishary Alafasy

Sheikh Yasser Dossary

Sheikh Maher Almuaiqaly

Sheikh Abdulbasit Abdulsamad

Sheikh Hazza Albalushi

Sheikh Abubakar Al Shateri

Deadline

Deadline to send in your child’s recitation is 15th August 2020 8pm UK time. However, we may close the registration early if we receive a large volume of submissions. You are advised to send the file as early as possible.

Competition categories:

Category A: 5-9 Years Old (up to 90 seconds recitation)
Category B: 10-15 Years Old (up to 90 seconds recitation)

Competition stages:

The competition will have 3 rounds: Quarter Finals, Semi Finals and Finals. Winners from each round will proceed to the next stage and will be informed via email and Instagram.

File requirement

The video file must be in one of the following formats: MP4, MOV or WMV when uploading. The video length should not exceed the time stated in the category. Please note that any file which does not follow the required format will NOT be accepted for submission.

Prizes

A $150 cash prize will be offered to the winner of each category.
